About the Camp
The communications camp consists of four days and three nights of hands-on experience in the Communications field. Students are given the opportunity to tour a local news-station, further develop their skills, and meet people from around the country. Current Misericordia Communication students serve as the counselors to the camp. They share their knowledge of the field and help mold the young camper's potential college career.
How to register
Although you cannot put a price on experience, there is a small fee. For $85 dollars students are able to direct, produce, and shoot their own newsprogram. Also they're able to write their own journalism articles, television scripts, and radio commercials. Campers are given the opportunity to experience the college lifestyle by living in the dorms, having a roommate, eating college food, and interacting with professors. Contact Dr. Crew for further information.
